Terms of service
Last updated 15 August 2026
Using Cyprian means agreeing to what follows. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask us rather than guessing.
What Cyprian does
Cyprian publishes content to social platforms on your instruction. You attach media, describe the outcome, and review a plan. Once you approve it, we schedule it, publish it to each destination, and report what actually happened.
Nothing publishes until you approve it. The assistant can read your request, ask questions and draft a plan, but it cannot publish, schedule, delete or approve anything on its own. Approval is always an explicit action by you.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your credentials to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 16 years old, and if you are using Cyprian for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to agree to these terms for it.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right you already had in the media and text you bring to Cyprian. You grant us a licence to store it, create the derivative versions a destination requires, and transmit it to the destinations you select, and that licence exists only so we can do the job you asked for. It ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You are responsible for confirming that:
- You own or are licensed to publish what you upload.
- Publishing it does not break the law or the rules of the destination you are publishing to.
- Anyone identifiable in it has agreed to appear, where that is required.
Connected accounts
Connecting a destination authorises Cyprian to act on your behalf on that platform, limited to what the connection permits. Each platform’s own terms continue to apply to you, and a platform can suspend, rate-limit or reject content for its own reasons. You can disconnect any destination at any time.
What we do not promise
Cyprian depends on platforms we do not control. Their APIs change, rate-limit, break and occasionally reject perfectly good content. So:
- We do not guarantee that any given post will publish, or publish at an exact time.
- We do guarantee that we will tell you the truth about it. A failed post says which destination failed, why, and what to do next. We will never show a post as published when it is not.
- Cyprian is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. Cyprian preserves your originals and does not overwrite them, but it is a publishing tool, not a backup service.
Acceptable use
You may not use Cyprian to:
- Publish unlawful content, or content you have no right to publish.
- Harass, impersonate, or deceive people, including publishing as someone who has not authorised it.
- Send spam or bulk automated content in a way that breaches a destination’s rules.
- Interfere with the service, work around its limits, or access parts of it you have not been given access to.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
Plans and payment
Cyprian has a free tier you can use without entering a card, and a paid subscription for unlimited posting. Current prices and what each tier includes are shown on our site and in the app before you buy. We will never move you onto a paid plan, or start charging for something you already use, without telling you first.
A subscription renews for the same period until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time and keep access until the period you have paid for ends. Where you buy through an app store, that store handles the billing and its own refund policy applies, so cancellation goes through your store account rather than through us.
Cyprian is a young product. Features may change or be withdrawn, and defects are likelier than in a settled one. If we withdraw something you are paying for, we will tell you and refund the unused part of your term.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Cyprian is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for loss of goodwill. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory right your local law gives you.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like. We may end or suspend access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your content. Deletion of your data after closure is covered in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Cyprian after that means you accept the new version.
Cyprian is operated by Cubeshell LLC.
